Abstract
The objective of Greece4.0 is to guide the Greek manufacturing industry in its digital transformation towards the realization and implementation of smart practices in its production facilities, in terms of automation, software applications and hardware. The Greece4.0 project will serve as an Industry4.0 test pillar, providing the necessary infrastructure and knowledge for the development, testing and validation of services such as: smart sensors, industrial IoT platforms, digital twins, control systems and robotics and AI in a secure and cost-effective approach for companies. The Greece4.0 partners will share the know-how acquired over the years through various European research and innovation initiatives on advanced manufacturing techniques and digital technologies, combining the features of cyber-physical manufacturing with AI to realize advanced manufacturing processes (planning, execution, control, monitoring, etc.).
