Warehouse Management in the Industry 4.0 Era: A new Textbook by Prof. Stavros Ponis

We have a new baby in the family! New book authored by Professor Stavros Ponis and Professor Dimitris Folinas, from the International Hellenic University, published by BrokenHill Pub. Ltd.

The textbook is probably the first one (in the Greek language), dealing with all the strategic and, most importantly, the every-day operational aspects of Warehouse Management and Intralogistics. This makes it (we hope) a very useful reading for both academics, business executives and industrial practitioners of the Supply Chain Management and Logistics fields. At the same time, the textbook already supports the 'Production Systems & Material Handling' course offered by the School of Mechanical Engineering - NTUA and the works of the Operational Research and Logistics Laboratory (ORLOG) -NTUA, especially in the scientific and business fields of Discrete Event Simulation for Production and Distribution facilities.
